Abstract: This video uses crash dummies to demonstrate the safety of wheelchair passengers while using public transit busses during both normal driving and emergency driving conditions. Presenters describe the project which looks at all aspects of wheelchair passenger safety throughout the transportation experience including the stability of wheelchairs and wheelchair passengers, the use of wheelchair securements, and wheelchair passengers use of lap and shoulder belts.
