Abstract: In this podcast, an individual in recovery with diabetes and mental illness shares her story of being diagnosed with both disabilities, tips on how to recognize the risks for developing diabetes, and how to manage both co-occurring conditions to stay healthy. She also provides information on the recommendations of the American Diabetes Association about the types of individuals who should be screened for diabetes. Run time: 10 minutes.
